Rivi’s, is the newest restaurant in Oakdale, now serving our oil for dipping and with their hummus dish! This upscale wine/beer cafe is the project of Paul and Amy Rivera who also created the restaurant to be a family-friendly place to enjoy light, local food. The name came from Paul’s nickname at Oakdale High School, Rivi. And the vibe at Rivi’s is “a place where friends and family come together and share a bottle of wine or craft beer”. Amy and Paul are focusing on brews, wine, products and produce locally made in the area.
In addition to beverages (including coffee), cheese and meat plates are available as well as a selection of desserts from local bakers. Also on the menu are some heartier dishes, including flatbreads and prime rib sliders.
One thing you won’t find at Rivi’s: television screens, inviting people to sit and talk without having to yell over a ballgame. Several seating areas, including one with a cozy fire pit, offer a variety of places for guests to relax & enjoy their meal or dessert.
Rivi’s is located at 150 N. Third Ave., Oakdale. It is open Wednesday and Thursday; 4 p.m.-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 4 p.m. – 1 a.m. Call 209-322-2347 for more information.
